Festival season 2025 is nearing an end, but it’s by no means over yet. Boundary Brighton provides a fantastic bookend to a wonderful summer, and this year they added an extra day! Located at Stanmer Park, Brighton, the festival brings a mix of mix of House, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Garage, Bass, and more across five stages.
Taxi drop off was a little bit of a walk from the festival, but I often enjoy that part with the reverberating bass getting increasingly louder whilst chatting to other festival goers, all with the collective excited anticipation of what’s to come. Entry was quick enough, and you were immediately hit with the feeling of energy and excitement.
There were over 50 artists playing across the stages, all uniquely styled to enhance the music and overall experience. The five stages were Lost Pier, Hilltop, Sector, Pulse and the main stage, Tidal. We were able to make our way round to all of them, with the new for 2025, Lost Pier Stage a particular favourite – small but mighty!
We started the day seeing the legendary Stanton Warriors on the Hilltop stage, bringing their bassy dance to the welcoming crowds. Following that we couldn’t help but see P Money, an absolute favourite for us across the festival scene. His hit ‘Swerve It’ sent the crowd wild!
After a quick food pit stop for some food, we headed over to the Lost Pier stage to Fabio + Grooverider, warming us up nicely for the one and only D Double E on the Tidal stage. As expected, he delivered. He rolled out his hits ‘04:59’, ‘Victory Lap Five’, and our favourite ‘Street Fighter Riddim’.
As the sun set on our day, we parked ourselves at the Pulse stage to see 4am Kru, and one we’ve been looking forward to, Girls Don’t Sync. They certainly didn’t disappoint, and I always love the feel of music in an indoor tent!
It was then time for Giggs on the Tidal stage. Surprisingly the crowd wasn’t as big as I’d envisaged, which had its positives as it meant we were closer to the action. This could have been one of those situations where people duck out early to avoid the crowds, but it did dampen the energy a little. Nonetheless, seeing Giggs was unsurprisingly a vibe, playing all his big tracks including ‘Talking the Hardest’ which created a mass singalong.
As well as music, the festival featured a range of activities including a funfair and markets, as well as multiple food spots across the site. There was a VIP area option too if you wanted to spend a little extra! This included food, lots of seating and very short queues to the bars.
Next year is the festival’s 10th anniversary, and no doubt it will be the biggest lineup yet. We’ll certainly be there to celebrate!
