1. Its location

The location was kept secret and only announced a few months before the event. And when it was, it was worth the wait. Totally unique, it was situated at Boston Manor Park beneath an underpass. Truly underground. You could intensify yourself with the music, but at the same time lose yourself down the windy paths leading to the decorated forests. Urban-nature chic was very much at the heart of the festival.

2. The music

With some of the biggest names in electronic and techno music – the likes of Adam Beyer, Carl Craig and Dixon performed across three stages. Drumcode, Hydra and Closer curated the stages – varying from the much more lively Drumcode and Closer stages to the ultra serene Hydra stage.

3. The organisers

LWE (London Warehouse Events) know how to put on a party, and are one of the most well known underground event organisers. This was the first festival created by them, and what a job they did. The location, the music, the atmosphere – everything blended together nicely.

4. No glitches

For an inaugural music festival you'd generally expect there to be a few issues, some unforeseen circumstances – but no, not in this case. Very little queuing for toilets and drinks, as well as the smooth entry into the festival. We're sure you agree, these aspects can make a massive difference to your enjoyment of a festival!
