1. It’s one of the best parties around
With a mixture of activities, music, all night parties, ridiculous structures, installations and so much more – this is the one.
2. There’s so much more to it than just the music – think of it as a visual and sensory delight
A hedonist’s dreamland – the colours, smells, sounds and views alongside the bizarreness of basically everything gives you the freedom to enjoy.
3. Embrace your inner child, it’s totally normal
This year’s theme is ‘Gardener’s Guide To The Galaxy’ so expect lots of fancy dress and a whole lot of silliness.
4. You can bring a boat to the lake (within reason obviously…)
Bring your inflatable dingy and set sail into the abyss. Or just chill in the middle of the lake - either way.
5. There are hot tubs
If taking all your clothes off and jumping in the lake isn’t your thing, then the hot tubs may be a solid alternative. Take advantage of the many they have on offer!
6. The dance off ring
Yep, there’s a wrestling ring – and yes, there are dance battles happening within it. There’s been a real eclectic mix of dress choice – from Power Rangers right through the mankini. Expect the unexpected.
.
7. Discover new music
Renowned as a hub for new talent, get lost and discover. They’ll be alongside headliners Caribou, Air and Maribou State.
.
8. Interactivity and participation
Embrace it and get involved – the festival prides itself on this, and there’s so much to do!
9. Picturesque setting
Set in Cambridgeshire amongst the idyllic countryside, it has a beautiful lake and river within the grounds. You won’t find a much better location for the Secret Garden.
10. One of the best firework displays you’ll see
The above gives you a little taster...
