Setlist, the newest addition to Somerset House’s food, drink and entertainment offering, has been announced and We. Are. Hyped!
The brainchild of by James Dye (co-owner of Frank’s), Tom Kidd (Nightcap and Adventure Bars), Paul Smyth (co- founder of Mission Kitchen) and Clement Ogbonnaya (Prince of Peckham), Setlist will reside on the riverside terrace at Somerset House and will be a platform for creators that represent the breadth of London’s cultural excellence across food, music, and art,
The venue is part of a range of events to mark Somerset House’s 25th birthday and will have a brand-new bar with a fantastic view of the iconic courtyard, while delivering art installations, live music, DJs, and food from some of London’s most exciting female chefs – so there is a lot to be excited about.
Expect to see a diverse range of foods from African and Caribbean-inspired flavours to hearty comfort foods, as well as unique art installations and interactive art and games. At the heart of Setlist will be a striking new 50m-long covered pavilion and this new space will provide a canvas for an annual artwork commission which will become one of the largest public painted artwork commissions in London, promoting emerging and early career artists.
A programme of live music will be curated along with weekly DJ sets to ensure vibes are on point and of course there will be a fully stocked bar, offering local London beers, wines, frozen cocktails and London’s biggest non-alcoholic menu.
With the launch date planned for Thursday 8 May, we’re only weeks away – and we couldn’t be more excited to head down and see what Setlist brings to the table, summer in the heart of Somerset House with drinks, art, music and good food – that’s what summer in London is all about!
