After first discovering 2000Trees in 2022, I’ve been itching to get back to that magical Gloucestershire forest ever since. It’s got one of the friendliest, most welcoming communities on the UK festival circuit - one of the safest, chillest vibes I’ve ever experienced at a music event.

This year’s headliners are looking strong: Irish hip-hop disruptors Kneecap, post-hardcore legends Alexisonfire, emo icons Taking Back Sunday, and the ever-epic Coheed and Cambria. It’s a line-up that balances nostalgia and fresh - exactly what Trees does best.

Lower down the bill, I’m hyped to see Twin Atlantic, Gen and the Degenerates, and Baby Said. It’s also a brilliant festival for discovering new acts - I first saw Vukovi here, and I’m buzzing to see them return in 2025.

Beyond the music, 2000Trees has loads to offer. The forest stage is ideal for laid-back sets under the canopy, the late-night silent disco is pure messy joy, and the mosh pits? Brutal and beautiful, sweaty perfection.

This year I’m aslo planning to spend more time in The Word tent -  with talks, live podcasts, and comedy throughout the day. I’m also attempting to round up a pub quiz dream team, so if you’re heading down and fancy a win, let me know.

Trees isn’t just a festival - it’s a family. And I can’t wait to be back amongst the trees for another unforgettable weekend.
