With a host of top-10 singles, T-Pain is one of the most prolific artists in the game - and has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, churning out countless collabs with the likes of Flo Rida (‘Low’), Akon (‘Bartender’), Chris Brown (‘Kiss Kiss’), Lil Wayne (‘Can’t Believe It’), DJ Khaled (‘All I Do Is Win’) and R.Kelly (‘I’m A Flirt’).

David Rodigan

For over 40 years, David Rodigan has been the top dog in the bass heavy-atmosphere of Britain’s reggae dance-halls. The key to his success has been an unsinkable passion for the music of Jamaica that has generated an unrivalled encyclopaedic knowledge of the island’s every artist, song and rhythm track - this man is a true reggae connoisseur.

A legendary radio DJ too, Rodigan began his broadcasting career in 1978 and has hosted classic reggae shows on Capital, Kiss 100, BBC Radio 2 and BBC 1Xtra. Alongside this, he has a prolific history in soundsystem clashes - having gone up against some of the top systems and selectors across the globe, renowned for his fearsome arsenal of dubplates.

Recent years have seen a relentless Rodigan resurgence - with countless awards and an MBE under the belt, a Red Bull Culture Clash win with Chase & Status and Shy FX, and a critically-acclaimed autobiography, all whilst continuing to champion reggae on the airwaves.

2018 sees Rodigan celebrate his 40th Anniversary in the business - a remarkable achievement, marked by a global tour on which S&C is one of his stops. A friend of the festival since day one, we’re thrilled to welcome back a true legend and UK music icon. Somebody give him some signal!

Ghetts

Genre-defining grime MC Ghetts will be gracing the S&C stage on June 16th - and as one of the scene's leading innovators and most respected figures, his is not a set to be missed.

With Caribbean roots and an East London upbringing, Ghetts brings a fierce flow to the game like no other. His string of highly-acclaimed mixtapes and charting debut album ‘Rebel With A Cause’ helped to create the foundations for the new generation of grime to follow. He is one of the true pioneers of the sound.

The Newham rapper is over a decade into his career but is showing no signs of slowing down yet, preparing to release his newest album ‘Ghetto Gospel: New Testament’ later this year. The first single from the album, “Slumdog Millionaire”, sees him work his magic with Stefflon Don to create a truly addictive banger.

Steff isn’t the only big name Ghetts has worked with, having laid down the fire vocals on many a collaboration. As an ambassador for grime music and a highly sought after spitter, his time in the industry has seen him put out tracks alongside the likes of Wretch 32, Rude Kid Music, Devlin, Chip and Shakka to name just a few.

Previously nominated for a BET award alongside world-renowned acts such as Giggs and Skepta, Ghetts isn’t here to mess around. With tickets going fast, neither should you.

Octavian

Born in France and raised in London, the 22 year old Octavian is making some big waves across the UK music scene - and you’ll get to see why first hand at this year's S&C

The young rapper released his hit track ‘Party Here’ last year to a rapturous reception. It created such an online buzz with its catchy chorus, bassy beats and banging video that it reached all corners of the globe - including the ears of Canadian superstar, Drake, who posted videos of himself enthusiastically partying along to the track.

With Drake's seal of approval, Octavian went on to sign a deal with Sony Black Butter Records. Home to the likes of J Hus, DJ Khaled, French Montana and Wiley, you get an idea of how huge he’s about to become. His music showcases an eclectic mix of influences - having been described as R&B, Dancehall, Grime, House, and UK Hip-Hop - creating a sound that everyone wants to hear.

Due to drop a new EP named 'Revenge' very soon, we’ve got a lot more content from Octavian to look forward too. Catch him at this years S&C before he’s selling out arenas worldwide.
